The AI Institute hosts a number of outreach activities and events for the College of Engineering and Applied Science and Stony Brook communities, as well as the broader public.

We have kicked off a new monthly seminar for Fall 2018, scheduled for every second Thursday of the month at 4PM.  The fall schedule revolves around local speakers, so we can conduct Institute business meetings at the end of each seminar, with selected external speakers in Spring 2019.  Talks, seminars, and other public events are posted on our calendar, accessible from the home page of this site.

We also offer programs to help faculty incorporate AI and Machine Learning technologies into their work (the ML Squad), and an annual meeting introducing a wider audience to the activities of the Institute (Burning Seawolf).
